Generate a QR code

QR code is something which we have been using a lot these days. From basic website url to contacts to wifi passwords, there are QR codes for everything.

In addition to use, it is very easy to generate QR code. Today we will learn to generate a QR code online.

Step 1: Find a website which can generate QR code online.

There are many websites readily available which can generate a QR code. In our example, I will use ‘https://www.the-qrcode-generator.com/’ to generate our QR code.

Step 2: Generate enter the data for which we need to generate a QR code.

We can generate QR code for anything like an URL, Free text, contact etc. For our case, we will generate a QR code for free text.

In the below screenshot, we entered some dummy data and QR code was generated on the right side.

There are various options available in this website for exporting QR code, the simplest one being downloading the QR code and sending the same to the person we want to. We can also copy the QR code and paste it anywhere we want.

In this way we can easily generate QR code for all our needs.
